Genuine Australian made UGGs are 100% handmade in Australia, as they have been for over 50 years where they originated in the 1970s. Around 9 in 10 sheepskin UGG Boots are not made in Australia.

Proof
sew in label
Genuine Australian UGGs will have a sew in label that will say 'Made In Australia'. Most UGGs will have sew in labels revealing they are made offshore, and you can almost guarantee that if there is no sew in label in your boots at all, they also aren't Australian made.

Don't be fooled, not all UGGs sold here in Australia are Australian made. The Australian made tag can be used when the product underwent its last substantial transformation in Australia, regardless of the origin, so always check the sew in label inside the boot leg to be sure it was 100% made here in Australia.
Unfortunately just because it is called an UGG boot, it doesn't mean they are necessarily Australian anymore.
